Baltimore's Zach Britton earned MLB's Mariano Rivera AL Reliever of the Year Award, and the Los Angeles Dodgers' Kenley Jansen was given the Trevor Hoffman NL reliever honor.

Chicago Cubs second baseman Javier Baez and starting pitcher Jon Lester were named co-MVPs of the National League Championship Series after the team's 5-0 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday night in Game 6 in Chicago.

Andrew Miller was named MVP of the ALCS after he helped lift the Cleveland Indians to the World Series for the first time since 1997.

The Indians defeated the Toronto Blue Jays in five games with Miller striking out 14 of the 26 batters he faced in the series. Miller allowed just three hits in 7 2/3 shutout innings and earned a save in Game 3.

"At this point of the year, you just find a way. That's all that matters. It's about winning," Miller said. "I would have given up 100 runs if we won 101-100. That's all that matters is we're going to the World Series, and that's a special experience and I can't wait."

Miller became just the fourth reliever ever to win the award, joining Dennis Eckersley (1988), Mariano Rivera (2003) and Koji Uehara (2013).

Colorado Rockies second baseman DJ LeMahieu won the National League batting title with a .348 average after sitting out both Saturday and Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers.
